Linda Lou Owens, 87

Linda Owens, 87 of Belcher, Ky. was born on Feb. 28, 1938 at Belcher, Ky. and passed away at home on Sunday, May 4, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Effa Francisco Green who preceded her in death as well as half brothers; Jimmy and Bobby Green and a sister; Lois Belcher. She was a member of the Elkhorn City Baptist Church and a clerk for Ace Hardware. She is survived by her husband; Virgil “Jam Up” Owens, sons; Roger Dale (Connie) Owens of Hope Mills, NC., David (Lisa) Owens of Belcher, a daughter Jacqualine (Thomas) Brooks of Belcher, Ky. and sisters; Francis Banks and Jeannette Brown both of Jasper, Alabama and Sandra Martin of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, 2 grandchildren; Eric Thomas Brooks and Christopher Aaron Owens and 2 great grandchildren; Cooper David Owens and Abigail Lee Owens. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 6:00-10:00 PM with a song service at 7:00 with Aaron Butler officiating, Funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin, Ky.
