Ivan Coleman, 73

Ivan Coleman, 73 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on June 28, 1952 in Pikeville, Ky. and passed away on July 19, 2025 in the Pikeville Medical Center. Ivan was the son of Bud and Dorothy Thacker Coleman who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Ralph, Reaford and Ronnie Coleman. He was a driller in the coal strip mining industry. Survivors are his wife; Cathy Elizabeth Belcher Coleman, daughters; Brandi (Brian) of Elkhorn City, Ky. and Ashley (Warney) Smith of Greenup, Ky., brothers; Bruce (Bonita) and Buddy Coleman both of Pikeville and Randy Coleman of Elkhorn City, Ky., sisters; Erma Lucas of Ohio and Lynn Adkins of Shelbiana, Ky. and grandchildren; Tyler Little, Brody Ratliff, Reagan Smith, Ashton Little and Jayden Smith, special nieces and nephews and a multitude of loving lifelong friends. There will be a Celebration of Life in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 6:00-10:00 PM and a funeral service at 7:00 with Chris Maynard officiating.
