Janey Lynn Damron, 71

Janey Lynn Damron, 71 of Elkhorn City, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born in Pikeville, KY, to the late John and Alma Coleman on April 20, 1954. Janey worked as a Pharmacy Tech for K-Mart. In addition to her parents, Janey is preceded in death by siblings: Roger “Pete” Coleman & Joyce Harmon.

Janey is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Lester) Anderson of Ashcamp, KY. Brothers: Kenneth (Janet) Coleman of Lookout, KY, Robert (Brenda) Coleman of Winwright, KY, Gary Coleman of Wolfpit, KY, Brenda (George) Potter, & Johnny Coleman of Elkhorn City, KY. Grandchild: Viki Chaney, & a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Friends may call from 6-10 PM on Friday, July 25, 2025 & Saturday, July 26, 2025, in the Original Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with services at 7 PM nightly. The funeral will be conducted on Sunday, July 26, 2025, at 1 PM with Phil Hines & others officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the John L. Coleman Cemetery at Wolfpit, KY.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
