Wendell Bartley, 70

Wendell Ray Bartley, 70 of Ashcamp, KY passed away Sunday, February 01, 2026 at his home. Wendell was a musician and a member of Poorbottom Freewill Baptist Church. He was born August 14, 1955 in Iager, WV to the late Millard Jasper Bartley and Leona Mitchell Bartley. In addition to his parents, Wendell was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Bartley and sister, Shirley.

Wendell is survived by his loving wife, Linda Gaye O’Quinn Bartley of Ashcamp, KY; nieces, Tammy (Pokey) Mullins, Clintwood, VA & Sonya Bartley of Hazard, KY; nephews, Jason (Karen) Bartley of Virgie, KY, Michael (Susan) Hackney of Dandridge, TN & DeWayne (Kim) Hackney of NC; several great nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Max Bartley.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Friday, February 06, and Saturday, February 07, 2026 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 08, 2026 at 2PM from the chapel with Richard Gibson, James Kilgore, Richie Gibson, Dale Senters, Junior Deel & Tracy Wells. Burial will follow at Rob Ratliff Cemetery, Shelby Gap, KY.
