Donnie Edward Ramey

Donnie Ramey, 70 of Pikeville, Ky. was born on July 27, 1954 in Pikeville, Ky. and passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 in the Pikeville Medical Center. He was the son of James L. and Loretta Hill Ramey who preceded him in death. Donnie was a coal miner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; Billy Ramey and an infant sister. He is survived by his wife; Karen Lynn Coleman Ramey, sons; Don (Myrika) Ramey of Pikeville and Anthony (Miranda) Ramey of Rockhouse, Ky., brothers Olis Ramey and Howard Ramey both of Rockhouse, Sisters; Linda Duty of Morristown, Tn., Audrey Clevinger of Frankfort, Ky. and Ada Ratliff of Poor Bottom, Ky., grandchildren; Whitney Ramey, Trevor Thompson, Allison Reynolds, Christopher Ramey, Holly Ramey, Haydon Ramey and Hunter Ramey. Visitation will be at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church on Monday, June 16, 2025 after 6:00 P.M. with a service at 7:00. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, 12:00 from the church with Mike Coleman, Tony Adkins and Rick Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman Cemetery at Rockkhouse, Ky.
