Easter Taylor, 96

Easter Taylor, 96 of Phyllis, KY passed away Thursday, October 09, 2025 at Elkhorn Health and Rehab. She was a homemaker and a member of the Biggs Church of God. Easter was born March 29, 1929 at Phyllis, KY to the late Cas Justice and Gustie Taylor Justice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hibbard Taylor, sons, Butchie Taylor, Barry Taylor, Terry Taylor and Bruce Taylor, daughter, Leona Taylor, brothers, Kelly Justice, Edgar Justice, Jennings Justice, Ellis Justice, Eugene Justice and Lonzo Justice and sisters, Brooksie Casey and Faye Adams, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Easter is survived by three sons, Billy Taylor of Old Town, FL, Timmy Taylor and Jerry Taylor both of Phyllis, KY; three daughters, Barbara Williamson of Wellington, KY, Carla Allen of Chloe, KY and Maretta Worrix of Elkhorn City, KY; special granddaughter, Jennifer whom she loved dearly; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7PM. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 2PM from the chapel with Jessie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow a Justice Cemetery, Phyllis, KY.
