Claudie Little, Sr.

Claudie Little, Sr., 91 of Bowling Fork, KY passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at his home. Claudie was born June 09, 1934 in Elkhorn City, KY to the late John Langley Little and June Belcher Little. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Gibson Little, children, Debra Joan Akers and Claudie Little, Jr., grandchildren, Tobie Jo Akers and Robin David Kilgore, great-great-grandchild, Jackson Crewe Hamilton and siblings, Willie Orville Little, Scottie Little, Johnny Little, Lou Ellen Rose, Helen Price, Judy Baker, and Rose Williams.

Claudie is survived by his children, Claudette (Terry) Pigg of Bowling Fork, KY, Roger “ER” Little of Bowling Fork, KY, Phyllis (Terry) Newsome of Virgie, KY and Chyrel (Larry) Kilgore-Gilliam of Hellier, KY; 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Nellie Carol Little, Adam Little, Leory “Doc” Little and Kenneth Little.

Visitation will be after 6PM Monday, March 02 and Tuesday, March 03, 2026 at the Poorbottom Freewill Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, March 04, 2026 at 2PM from the church with Richard Gibson and others officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.
