Denver Bailey

Funeral Director/Embalmer/Owner

Denver Bailey, a 1961 graduate of Haysi High School in Haysi, VA, earned his Mortuary Science degree from Cincinnati College in 1968. He has been recognized for his skills, including the Delane L. Beaver Award in restorative art.

Bonnie Bailey

Funeral Director/Embalmer/Owner

Bonnie, attended Iaeger High School in West Virginia, earned her Bachelor of Science in secondary education from Pikeville College in 1973. She graduated as valedictorian from Mid-America Mortuary College of Funeral Science in 1984.

Dr. Tiffany Bailey-Slone

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Tiffany Bailey-Slone is the sole daughter of Denver and Bonnie Bailey, and is a distinguished professional with a diverse background in psychology and funeral services. A 1991 graduate of Elkhorn City High School in Elkhorn City, Kentucky, Dr. Bailey-Slone went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1995 from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. She furthered her education by obtaining a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. She is currently advancing her expertise by attending Mid-America College of Mortuary Science.

Dr. Bailey-Slone is the sole facilitator of Bailey's Bridges, a grief therapy group offered complimentary by Denver and Bonnie Bailey of the Bailey Funeral Home to the families they have served. Her commitment to helping others through both her therapeutic and funeral services work has made a profound impact on many lives.

Cindy Sykes

Licensed Funeral Director/Office Manager

Cindy Sykes, is a graduate of Millard High School. She graduated from Pikeville University with a BA in Business Management and Accounting. Cindy has been with the Bailey Funeral Home for 15 years. She serves as the office manager and licensed funeral director, since 2019.

Morgan Slone

Transport Specialist

Morgan Slone is the grandson of Denver and Bonnie Bailey and a 2026 honors graduate of East Ridge High School. Known among his peers and community for his integrity and quiet leadership, he was honored as a recipient of the Tye Hamblin Memorial Scholarship. Morgan is certified through the Kentucky Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors in transportation and removal and will begin his apprenticeship in funeral directing and embalming in the summer of 2026. He is proud to continue his family’s tradition of service to the families of this community.
