Cremation Options
If your family has chosen cremation, we offer affordable services that help celebrate the life of your loved one while giving you several options for a public gathering, and a final resting place.
Traditional Funeral Service Followed by Cremation
Many families find meaning and beauty in a traditional funeral service. With a traditional service combined with cremation, you can still choose to have a final viewing, visitation, and a funeral service. However instead of in-ground burial, the funeral will be followed by cremation. Depending on your wishes, the cremated remains may be either returned to your family in an urn, scattered, or interred in a columbarium.
Memorial Service
A memorial service is a meaningful opportunity to gather, reflect, and celebrate a life that has touched so many. Whether you choose to hold the service in our chapel, at your home church, or at another location that holds special significance, we will help you create a setting that feels personal and comforting.
Our team works closely with your family to design a tribute that truly reflects your loved one’s story. From heartfelt eulogies and shared memories to carefully selected music, readings, or visual tributes, every detail can be thoughtfully arranged to honor their personality, values, and legacy. We can also assist with photo displays, memorial videos, printed programs, and keepsakes that help preserve cherished memories.
Above all, our goal is to ease the burden during a difficult time by guiding you through each step with compassion and care. Together, we will create a service that not only honors your loved one’s life, but also provides a space for connection, remembrance, and healing.
Graveside Service
Here in Eastern Kentucky, we know how much family, faith, and tradition mean when saying goodbye. A graveside service following cremation offers a simple, heartfelt way to honor your loved one with a final act of remembrance. Gathering at the cemetery, surrounded by these familiar hills and the comfort of community, provides a quiet moment for family and friends to reflect, share stories, and find peace together.
Whether you prefer a brief, simple committal or a more traditional service with prayer, scripture, or music, we will help you create something that feels true to your family’s wishes. As a family-owned funeral home rooted in Appalachian values, we understand the importance of doing things with care, respect, and dignity. It is our privilege to stand beside you and help lay your loved one to rest in a way that feels meaningful and right.
Direct Cremation
For families who prefer a simple and straightforward option, direct cremation provides a dignified choice without a formal service. We respectfully bring your loved one into our care from their home, the hospital, nursing facility, or coroner’s office, and handle the cremation at our facility with the utmost care.
Our staff takes care of all necessary paperwork and required authorizations, easing that burden from your shoulders during a difficult time. Once the cremation is complete, your loved one’s ashes are promptly returned to your family.
