Zena Faith Newsome, 17 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024. Zena was born March 22, 2007 in Pikeville, KY. She was a student at East Ridge High School and attended the Jubilee Church, Pikeville, KY.

Zena is survived by her parents, Rocky and Tanya Newsome Taylor of Elkhorn City, KY and father; Dike Ben Newsome of Pikeville, brothers, Austin Ray Newsome and Ryan Austin Haynes both of Elkhorn City, KY; a sister, Destiny Nichole Akers of Williamson, WV. She is also survived by maternal grandmother, Judy Ann Ray of Elkhorn City, KY, and paternal grandparents, Earl and Jessica Taylor of Elkhorn City, KY.

Visitation will be from 6-10 PM Saturday, May 18 and 8AM-10PM Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral will be conducted Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11AM from the chapel with Aaron Butler officiating. Burial will follow at the Ray Family Cemetery, Brushy, Kentucky.
