Wendell Hawkins, 75 of Ashcamp, KY passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Pikeville Medical Center. Wendall Wade was born August 09, 1950 at Pikeville, KY to the late Junior Willie and Geraldine Rowe Hawkins. He was a member of the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church and the Sycamore Fire Department. Wendall Wade is survived by one brother: Neal Hawkins of Scotsdale, AZ and two sisters; Glenda Ratliff of Naples, FL and Freda Lang of Louisville, KY.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 04, 2026 at 6:00 PM from theHylton Freewill Baptist Church. Services will begin at 7:00 PM with Van Swindall officiating. The funeral will be conducted Thursday, March 05th at 11:00 am from the church. Burial will follow at the Sanders Cemetery, Ashcamp, KY.
