Walter Blaine Coleman, 90 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on June 13, 1933 in Marrowbone, Ky. and passed away on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2023 in Elkhorn City, Ky. Walter is the son of William Jackson and Sarah Jane Wright Coleman who preceded him in death. A brother; Billy Steven and sisters; Dixie Hicks and Georgia Huffman also preceded him in death. He was a member of the Elkhorn City United Methodist Church and a school teacher. Survivors are his wife; Katie Hall Coleman, a son; Tony Coleman of Elkhorn City, a daughter; Dixie Ann Coleman of Elkhorn City. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 PM-!0:00 PM on Friday with a service at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday, Jan.20, 2024, 1:00 with Tommy Taulbee officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie Young Cemetery in Pikeville, Ky.
