Teresa Case, 56 of Lick Creek, Ky. was born on Feb. 7, 1967, in Grundy, Va., and passed away at home on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024. She is the daughter of John Wallace Thacker of Lick Creek, Ky., and the late Mary Dixie Ward Thacker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Jimmy Thacker. Teresa was a member of the Ferrells Creek Church of Christ and a waitress for Pizza Hut. Survivors are her father; John Wallace Thacker of Lick Creek, brothers; John Thacker of Ashcamp, Bill Thacker of Grapevine, Thaniel Thacker of Bean Station, Gary Dean Thacker and Danny Thacker both of Mouthcard, Ky., Bobby Thacker of Grundy, Va. and Ricky Thacker of Bean Station, Tn. and a fiance: Barkley Sawyers. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, with a service at 7:00. Funeral service will be on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, at 1:00 from the chapel with Billy Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E Young Cemetery, Pikeville, Ky.
