Sondra Jones James, beloved resident of Elkhorn City, KY, was born on January 6, 1957 and passed away on July 15, 2024. She was the cherished wife of the late Bobby James. Sondra was proceeded in death by her parents Conrad and June Jones and her niece, Heather Jones.

Sondra is survived by her stepson, Todd James, and his wife Kathy of Lawrenceburg, KY, as well as her special niece, Belynda Schuman, and her husband Jake of Cardington, OH, who was like a daughter to her. She was the loving grandmother, known as "G-Ma" to her seven "G-babes": Emma, MaKenna, and Cole James, and Sydney, Sawyer (Charity), Fisher, and Finn Schuman. Sondra is also survived by her brother, Larry Jones, and his wife Donna of Ashland, KY.

For over 40 years, Sondra served the community of Inez, KY as a barber. She was dedicated to her clients, many of whom she considered family. Sondra's warm personality and joyful spirit brought light to everyone she met. Her presence will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.
