Sherry Hylton, 64 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on April 26, 1960 in Pikeville, Ky. and passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on Friday, July 12, 2024. She was the daughter of Naamon and Mary Alice Holloway Coleman who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sons; Michael and Kevin Holland, a brother; Samuel Coleman and a sister; Jackie Coleman. Survivors are her husband Curtis Hylton, brothers; Terry Coleman of Bean Station, TN., James Coleman of Union County, TN. and John Coleman of Pikeville, Ky. and sisters; Brenda Isom of Pikeville, Marie Springer of Louisville, Rosemary Carroll of Harold, Julia Ramsey of Castlewood., Va. and Jettie Mullins of Haysi, Va. Visitation will be in the Hylton Freewill Baptist after 6:00 PM on Sunday with a service at 7:00. The funeral service will be Monday, July 15, 2024 in the church. Officiating ministers will be Van Swindall and Ken Childers. Burial will follow in the Ratliff Cemetery at Sycamore, Ky.
