Rose Lee Bartley, 78 of Belcher, Ky. was born on May 11, 1945 at Ashcamp, Ky. and passed away at her home on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024. Rosa was the daughter of Charlie and Alpha Irene Belcher Adkins who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Dallas Bartley, a son; Shane Patrick Newsome, and brothers; William, John, Charles Ray and Roger Adkins. Survivors are a son; Brack Nesome, III. of Belcher, Ky., daughters; Deborah Newsome of Elkhorn City, Ky. and April Dawn Edmonds of Elkhorn City, Ky., brother; Gary Adkins of Louisa, Ky., sisters; Mary Glover of NC, Shelba Carter of Georgia and Sadie Fitch of Draffin, Ky., grandchildren; Traci Fay Smith, Crystal Lynn Bartley, Justin Keith Wright, Ryan Cody Thacker, Corey Daniel Smith, Nathan Allen Coleman, Jennifer Denise Thacker, Treavor Dylan Slone, Becky Bartley, Jessica Beth Newsome, Bradley Scott Newsome, Travis Shane Newsome, Tabitha Newsome and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM with a service at 7:00. Funeral service will be on Monday, 2:00, Feb. 19, 2024 with Jim Ed Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Draffin, Ky.
