Robin Wright, 65 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on Sept. 26, 1958 in Pikeville, Ky. and passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024 in the Pikeville Medical Center. She was the daughter of Gordon and Donna Skeens Looney who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister; Debbie Looney. Robin was a member of the Ferrells Creek Church of Christ for sixty years, a teacher in the Pike County School System and a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband; Johnny Wright, a son; Cody (Ashley) Wright of Elkhorn City, a brother; Mike Looney of Elkhorn City and a grandson; Sully Wright. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM with a service at 7:00 with Jim Ed Belcher officiating. The funeral service will be in the Ferrells Creek Church of Christ on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11:00 with Billy Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery in Draffin, Ky.
