Robert L Slone, 70 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Pikeville Medical Center. Bob was a retired coal miner and a member of the Little Beaver Church of Christ.

Bob was born January 26, 1954 in Pikeville, KY to Ella Marie Kilgore Slone of Elkhorn City, KY and the late Jennings Edward Slone. In addition to his father, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Tulessa Tackett Slone and two sisters, Janet Bailiff and Ruth Slone.

Along with is mother, Bob is survived by a son, Robert Edward Slone of Franklin, OH; grandchildren, Blake Cole and Gunnar Slone; and brother James Slone of Lexington, NC.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, December 20, 2024 at 2PM from the chapel with Dan Fraley officiating. Burial will follow at the Ratliff-Childers Cemetery, Ashcamp, KY.
