Richard Justice, 71 of Phyllis, KY passed away Thursday, April 02, 2026 at Pikeville Medical Center. Richard was born February 18, 1955 in Pikeville, KY the late Mayor Justice and Alma Taylor Justice. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by brothers, Elster, Fonso and Robert Justice.

Richard is survived by his son, Richard Allen "Rick" Justice of Phyllis, KY; step-son, Aaron (Laci) Anderson of Georgetown, KY; grandchildren, Zachary Allen Justice and Kyle Owen Justice both of Missouri; and a special friend, Sharon Hunt. He is also survived by brothers, James (Rita) Justice and Stevie (Anita) Justice both of Phyllis, KY; sisters, Charlene Fuller of Phyllis, KY and Jeanine (Ron) Hamilton of Lexington, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be after 6PM Saturday, April 04 and Sunday, April 05, 2026 at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 06, 2026 at 2PM from the church with Dewayne Abshire officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor-Justice Cemetery, Phyllis, KY.
