Peggy Joyce Farmer, 94 of Belcher, KY passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026 at her residence. Peggy was born September 11, 1931 to the late Benjamin "Fatty" Elmer Kerr and Delsie Clista Salyer Kerr. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Perry Welford Farmer, four brothers; James "Jibo" Kerr, William "Bull" Ira Kerr, Jimmy Douglas Kerr and Lloyd "Press" Preston Kerr, and one sister; Jeanette Kerr.

Peggy was a member of the Ferrells Creek Church of Christ and a homemaker. She is survived by one son; Perry F. (Jackie) Farmer of Pikeville, KY, one daughter; Cathy (Michael) Filowiat of Mt. Sterling, KY, one sister; Mary Hamilton of Belcher, KY, four grandchildren; Sean Farmer, Corey Farmer, Ethan Filowiat, and Hannah Vazquez Ciros, and one great grandchild; Sebastian Michael Filowiat.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 01, 2026 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may call from 6 – 10 PM. The funeral will be conducted Thursday, July 02, 2026 at 2:00 PM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Ramey officiating. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
