Nodgie Blackburn Thacker, 90 of Lick Creek, KY passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Pikeville Medical Center. Nodgie was a homemaker and a member of the Lick Creek Holiness Church. She was born April 27, 1933 at Lick Creek, KY to the late Andrew J. Blackburn and Pearlie Bishop Blackburn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Audrey Thacker; a son, James Ecliff Thacker; four brothers, Tommy, Mosco, Hasco and Corbet Blackburn; and six sisters, Velva Keene, Dorothy Justice, Lavon Owens, Edna Mae Shanks, Faye Blackburn and Dorlis Hackney.

Nodgie is survived by three daughters, Debra Hunt of Mouthcard, KY, Pamela Ramey of Freemont, OH and Stephanie Meade of Lick Creek, KY; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Visitation will be from 6-10 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a song service at 7 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 1 PM from the chapel with Ray Sayers, Plennie Sawyers, and Rick Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.
