Nancy Rae Sanders, 66 of Rockhouse, KY passed away Thursday, August 08, 2024 at UKMC. Nancy was a secretary and a member of the Unity Freewill Baptist Church. She was born January 26, 1958 in Pikeville, KY to Ellen Smith Roberts of Virgie, KY and the late Willis Ray Thacker. In addition to her father, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Charles Sanders and two sisters, Selma Roberts and Darlene Fleming.

In addition to her mother, Nancy is survived by a daughter, Misty (Allen) Sayers of Elkhorn City, KY; a grandchild, Cody Sayers and a great-grandchild, Octavia Sayers. She is also survived by sisters, Dottie Fleming and Terri Keene bother of Virgie, KY, Melissa Tackett of Villa Rica, GA and Lekita Givens of Lexington, KY; nephews, Matthew Fleming, Gabriel Fleming, Joseph Fleming, Corey Thacker, Sean Migneron and nieces Tonya Gunter, Deanna French, Kayla Migneron and Jessica Thacker.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 12, 2024 at 2PM from the chapel with Tony Adkins and Terry Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at the Sanders Cemetery, Rockhouse, KY.
