Mosey Lee Fields, 87 of Steele, Ky. was born on Feb. 23, 1938 in Biggs, Ky. and passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on Thursday, May 29, 2025. She was the daughter of Sim and Nancy Ellen Hurley Fields who preceded her in death. Mosey was a member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church and a custodian for the Pike County School System. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters; Thelma (Jack) Griffey, Gladys (Lloyd) Sullivan, Helen Fields, Mary Fields and Martha Fields, brothers; James (Helen) Fields, Freddie Fields, Freeland Fields and Eugene Fields. Survivors are one sister; Linda Sue (Plennie) Matney of Feds Creek, KY, sister-in-laws; Nola Fields of Biggs, Ky. and Rosenelle Fields of Mouthcard, Ky., host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 1:00 with Plennie Matney, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie Young Cemetery in Pikeville, Ky.
