Mary Kendrick, 86 of Belcher, Ky. was born on August 13, 1937 in Mingo County, WV and passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in the Pikeville Medical Center. She was the daughter of Lancer Riley Lester and Kelsie Rowe Lester who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Homer Eugene Kendrick, a brother; Robert "Bill" Lester and a sister; Betty Ann Skeens. Mary was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a line worker for Bell and Howell. Survivors are a daughter; Sandra (Timothy, Sr.) Childers, grandchildren; Kimberley (Dale) St. Clair, Savannah (Derek) Hommema and Timothy 2nd. (Desirae) Childers, great-grandchildren; Isabella St. Clair, Kipton St. Clair, McKinlea St. Clair, Adolyn Hommema, Haylen Hommema, Raelyn Hommema, Ayla Old, Cole Childers and Charlee Childers. Visitation will be in Bailey Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-10:00 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2024 with a service at 7:00.. Funeral service will be Monday, June 3, 2024, 11:00 with Mykal Ringstaff officiating. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin, Ky.
