Mary Kerr Hamilton, 84 of Belcher, KY passed away Sunday, July 05, 2026 at Pikeville Medical Center. Mary was an aide at Elkhorn City Elementary and a member of the Ferrells Creek Church of Christ since 1980. She was born August 16, 1941 in Belcher, KY to the late Benjamin Elmer "Fatty" Kerr and Delsie Clista Salyer Kerr. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hamilton, brothers, James "Jimbo" Kerr, William Ira Kerr, Lloyd Preston "Press" Kerr and Jimmy Douglas Kerr and sisters, Jeanette Kerr and Peggy Farmer.

Mary is survived by her son, Jim Bob (Louella) Hamilton of Belcher, KY, two grandchildren, Chevy Meade and Penelope Meade, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Wednesday, July 08, 2026 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 09, 2026 at 12 noon from the chapel with Jim Ed Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Memorial Park, Pikeville, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ferrells Creek Church of Christ or Elkhorn City Health & Rehab Physical Therapy Department.
