Johnny “Jon Jon” Sanders; 54

Johnny “Jon Jon” Sanders, 54 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 at is residence. Johnny was born October 03, 1971 in Prestonsburg, KY to Johnny Sanders of Floyd County and the late Mary Ellen Lawson Akers. In addition to his mother, Johnny was preceded in death by one brother; Timothy Sanders, his paternal grandparents Cecil and Kathryn Sanders and his maternal grandmother; Madlyn Lawson.

Johnny is survived by his wife; Malena Sanders, one daughter; Kayeleigh Sanders, both of Elkhorn City, KY, and one son; Justin Huffman of Lexington, KY. Johnny is also survived by one brother; Sherman Sanders of Louisa, KY and one sister; Patty Lyons of Olive Hill, KY.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may call from 6 - 10 PM. Services will begin at 7:00 PM with Randy Bentley officiating. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, March 25th at 11:00 AM from the Bailey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
