Kenny Ray King, 69 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026 at his residence. Kenny was born August 12, 2026 in Pikeville, KY to the late Curtis King and Fay Williamson Thacker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; Helen Kay Belany and Linda King.

Kenny is survived by his wife Pamela Elswick King of Elkhorn City, KY, five children; Jennifer (Ricky Dale) Potter of Elkhorn City, KY, Kelly King and Kayla Griffey both of Lexington, KY, Brad (Bridgette) Ramey of Ferrells Creek, KY and Brandon Potter of Elkhorn City, KY, two brothers; Jerry King of Regina, KY and Greg Reynolds of Ashcamp, KY, and five sisters; Lucille Swiney and Phyllis Sykes both of Elkhorn City, KY, Tammy Ratliff and Melissa Black both of Florida. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Ashley Potter, Richy Blake Potter, Hannah Adkins, Niklaus Agee, Dray Adkins, Adrihanna Griffey, and Xzavier Ramey and nine great grandchildren; Blakey Grace Potter, Huckson Ray Potter, Ronald Adkins, Elena Adkins, Annaleigh Adkins, Paxton Branham, Liam Branham, Dane Johnson, and River Johnson.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may call from 6 - 10 PM. Services will begin at 7:00 PM with Bill Conley Officiating. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM from the Bailey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
