Kennith Blake Ward, 73 of Belcher, KY passed away at his home on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Kennith was born on October 27, 1951 in Pike County, KY to the late Frank Willis "Bobby" Ward and Gracie Irene Swiney Ward. Kennith lived a life rooted in the hills of Eastern Kentucky and filled with stories, laughter and the simple joys of home.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Franklin Delano "Denny" Ward, Benny Ward, and Billy Joe Ward as well as sister, Kathy Marie Ward Bentley. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.

Kennith is lovingly remembered by his brother, Shannon Dean (Sandra) Ward of Belcher, KY, his half-brother, James Foster Swiney of Rogersville, TN and sister, Beatrice Ann "Sue" (Charles) Mullins of Rogersville, TN. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss his gentle presence, stories from the old days and the unconditional love he gave freely.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
