June Marie Mercer, 80 of Elkhorn City, KY was born February 25, 1946 to the late Corbett Lee and Lavon Reedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dannie F. Mercer and her beloved son, Dannie F. Mercer II.

June is survived by her daughter and son in law Angela and Chris Griffith, grandchildren: Ashleigh Thacker, Kristein (Frank) Thacker, Dannie F. (Kayla) Mercer III, Dalton Mercer, Dylan (Catie) Griffith, and a bonus Granddaughter Kailey Davis, great grandchildren: Milani and Roslin Chirico, Hunter Francis, Alaynna Hamilton Mercer, Dannie Thomas Mercer IV, Marshall Mercer, and Daylan Griffith, brother Curtis Lee Reedy, brother-in-laws: Jeff Cline and Tommy Joe Mercer, and niece Mishey Belcher. She also leave behind her best friends Gwen Caudill and Denise Senters, her dogs Oakley and Oscar, and an endless amount of friends she made while working at Happy Mart and Double Kwik for 27 years.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 6th and Monday Sept 7th 2026, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may call from 6:30 – 10 PM. Services will begin at 7:00 PM with Bill Conley, Bob Wrentz, and others officiating. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday Sept. 7th at 2:00 PM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Spears Cemetery, Belcher, KY.
