Jimmie Green, 71 of Belcher, Ky passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Pikeville Medical Center. Jimmie was born May 06, 1954 in Pikeville, KY to the late Plennie and Louama (Looney) Green. In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by two brothers; Glen and Jerry Green and three sisters; Lois Bentley, Louise Rowe, and Phyllis Wright.

Jimmie Is survived by his wife; Loretta Rose Green of Belcher, KY, one son; James Andrew Green and daughter-in-law Christina Faye Green, one brother; William Ray Green, and one sister; Zetta Mullins.

Visitation will be held, Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 6 - 10 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer and music service will begin at 7:00 PM with Roy Sawyers officiating. The funeral will be conducted Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 2:00 PM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery.
