Jerry Wayne Hunt, 66 of Pikeville, KY passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at his residence. Jerry was born July 07, 1958 in Grundy, VA to the late Troy Hunt and Garnell Norman Hunt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, James Austin Daughtery, a brother, Russell Paul Hunt and two sisters, Naomi Hunt and Cheryl Hunt.

Jerry is survived by a son, Troy (Renee) Hunt of Elkhorn City, KY; a daughter, Shannon (Brian Ross) Gillespie of Pikeville, KY; grandchildren, Kiara (Colby Muncy) Bailey, Emily (Dylan) Morris, Shelby Hunt and Gabriella Hunt; great-grandchildren, Jazlynn Morris, Waylon Daughtery, and Weston Morris. He is also survived by two sisters, Phoebe Griffith of Elkhorn City, KY and Loretta Price of Regina, KY; ex-wife and lifelong friend, Brenda Griggs; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 03, 2024 from 2-5PM at Fishtrap Spillway Shelter.
