Jean Hall born "Mary Kathleen Jackson" formerly of Elkhorn City, Ky was born on Jan. 15, 1942 in Smithboro, Marion Co., South Carolina and passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg, Ky. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; Mealy and Ida King Jackson and addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband; Hagood Johnson Jones and her second husband William Eugene "Bill" Hall, daughters; Rosa Louise Hall and Mary Bess Jones Craft, brothers; Joe Jackson and Eugene Jackson, half brothers; Dewey, John Charles and Marvin Lee and half sisters; Viola, Addie, Louise, Beulah and Myrtle. Survivors are 2 sons; Johnny Hall of Georgetown, Ky. and Billy Clark of Wurtland, Ky., a daughter; Vickie Coates Duncan of Amory, Mississippi, a brother; Stonewall Jackson of Dillon, SC. and a sister; Lois Jackson Hamer of Dillon, SC, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, Oct 20, 2025 from 6-10:00 PM. The funeral services will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, 2:00, October 21, 2025 with Jim Ed Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Elkhorn City Cemetery in Elkhorn City, Ky.
