Howard Doyle Jones, 83 of Rockhouse, KY passed away Sunday, March 08, 2026 at his residence. Howard was a retired coal miner. He was born August 29, 1942 at Rockhouse, KY to the late Leon Jones and Burtis Artrip Jones. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Harris Jones, two daughters, Sharon Kay Jones and Denita Gaye Jones, siblings, Curtis (Bosie), Ernest (Slick), Lloyd (Hop) Harold Ray & Boyd (Choo Choo) Jones, Collen Bryant and Rosalie Jones.

Howard is survived by a son, Blaine Jones of Dandridge, TN, granddaughter, Carrie Jones, and a sister, Wanda Ramey of Roseville, MI.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with prayers and songs only. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 11AM from the chapel with Greg Goins presiding.
