Hank "Mutt" Mutter age 65 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on April 14, 1959 in Pikeville, Ky. and passed away at home on Monday, June 17, 2024, Hank was the son of Ruey Mutter and Delois Coleman Mutter who preceded him in death. He was a teacher in the Pike County School System, member of the Thomas DeVenny Lodge in Freeburn, Ky. Eastern Star, KEA, KEAR, PCEA and a moderator for the local and state Academic Team. Survivors are his wife; Teffany Potter Mutter, sons; Anthony (Sarah) Mutter of Blountville, Tn., Christopher "Crick" Mutter of Elkhorn City, and Josh Taylor of Elkhorn City, sister; Jennie Campbell of Edgewater, Fl., and granddaughter; Saylor Mutter. The Thomas DeVenny Lodge will have a service on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 7:00 with a Celebration of Life Service following at 7:30 PM. On Saturday, June 22, 2024 there will also be a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 PM . In lieu of flowers please make donations to a scholarship fund being established in his name.
