Gracie Bentley, 93 of Rockhouse, KY passed away Sunday, July 06, 2025 at Pikeville Medical Center. Gracie was born May 25, 1932 in Yaeger, KY to the late Thomas Cantrell and Fairy Davis Schliep. She was a retired custodian for the Pike County School System and a member of the Sameria Old Regular Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Gracie was preceded in death by her husband, Ell Lester Bentley, sons, Johnnie Wayne Bentley and Thomas Lester Bentley, daughters, Ella Mae Verchoski, Nelia Faye Bentley and Burma Jean Profit and a brother, John James Cantrell.

Gracie is survived by two sons, Kerby Dale Bentley of Dandridge, TN and Jerry Edward Bentley of Rockhouse, KY; daughter, Lorena Carol Jones of Rockhouse, KY; grandchildren, Brian Keith Jones, Kevin Robert Jones, Ruey Thomas Bentley, Chadwick Keene, Christie Renea Frazier, Eric Wayne Bentley, Timothy Dale Bentley, Regina Keene, Kelly Foster, Mark Wayne Bentley & Stephanie Morton; great-grandchildren, Alexander Dalton Jones, Christian Foster, Dustin Paul Morton, Madison Frazier, and Jesse Lee Frazier; and one sister, Hannah Kuzawa of Brockway, MI.

Visitation will be after 6PM Wednesday, July 9, and Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Sameria Old Regular Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 12PM from the church with Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial wil follow at the Sanders & Bentley Cemetery, Rockhouse, KY.
