Grace Williamson, 80 of Lick Creek, Ky. was born on July 7, 1945 at Grapevine, Ky. and passed away on Oct. 9, 2025 in the Pikeville Medical Center. Grace was the daughter of Tom and Ora Hunt Sawyers who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands; Teddy Abshire and Billy Gene Williamson, a daughter; Renee Buchanan, brothers; Barkley, Bennett, and Jonah Sawyers, sisters; Lydia Williamson and Mary Smith. She was a member of the Lick Creek Holiness Church and a homemaker. Survivors are a son; Ronald Abshire of Steele, Ky., daughters; Dewana Phillips of Pikeville, Ky. and Sharon Mullins of Lick Creek, Ky., 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and a sister; Olga Bickford of Rockhouse, Ky. Visitation will be on Monday, October 13, beginning at 11:00 AM at the Lick Creek Holiness Church. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM. Ministers will be Ray Sayers, Rick Fuller and Rick Sawyers. Burial will follow in the Sawyers Cemetery on Elswick Fork of Lick Creek, Ky.
