Fredia Jean looney, 75 of Ashcamp, KY passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 at her residence. Fredia was a retired school teacher. She was born September 28, 1949 to the late Fred and Imogene (Conley) Starnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Steven Starnes and Tommy Lee Starnes, as well as one sister; Debbie Jones.

Fredia is survived by her husband James Looney of Ashcamp, Ky, one son; Shawn (Nicole) Looney of Johnson City, TN, and one daughter Selena (David) Colley of Virgie, KY. Fredia is also survived by one brother; Allen Starnes of Gray, TN, two sisters; Susan Miller of London, KY and Rebecca Duggar or Gray, TN, six grandchildren; Alex (Daelyn) Looney, Logan (Emily) Spears, Josh Looney, Keegan Colley, Colton Looney, and Kyle (Kim) Colley, and one great grandchild; Karsyn Looney.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 14, 2025, from 6 - 10 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Howard Denton Murphy officiating.
