Floyd Mitcheal Standifur, 68 of Shelby Gap, KY passed away Saturday, August 09, 2025 at his residence. Floyd was born June 16, 1957 in Pikeville, KY to the late Richard Daniel Standifur and Dorothy Kilgore Standifur. In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by brothers, Roy, Dan, Donnie and George Standifur and sister, Della June Standifur.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Mary Hudson Standifur of Shelby Gap, KY; son, Christopher (Deeanna) Standifur of Lexington, NC; step-sons, Rylan Bennett of Mt. Airy, NC and Tony Swoffard of Caney Creek, KY; brothers, Jerome "Bo" (Bobbie) Standifur of Pikeville, KY and James (Pamela) Standifur of Elkhorn City, KY; sister in law, Anita Standifur of Caney Creek, KY; a host of nieces and nephews; and dogs, Billie Jean, Luke Duke, Enos, Rebel, D-9 and Bun Bun.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Tuesday, August 12 and Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 1PM from the chapel with Richard Gibson, Ritchie Gibson and Van Swindall officiating. Burial will follow at Childers Cemetery, Ashcamp, KY.
