Florine Fields, 97, of Elkhorn City, KY passed away on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at her daughter's residence in Lexington, KY. Florine was born on January 11th, 1927 at Lookout, Ky. She was the daughter of Bee Ratliff and Okie Arnett Ratliff Rowe who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Victor Fields, brothers; Kent and Trubie Ratliff and sisters; Shelby Burchett and Pauline Ratliff. Florine was a member of the Elkhorn City Church of Christ, Elkhorn City Woman's Club and a clerk in the retail clothing and grocery industry.

Florine is survived by her son: James Eddie (Annetta) Fields of Elkhorn City, KY., daughter: Teresa Branham of Lexington, KY., grandchildren: Melanie Fields Horton and Coty Fields and great-grandchildren: Wade Horton and Mia Horton (Kolt) Osborne, sisters; Patty (Cecil) Cantrell and Ruby Olson both of Columbus, Ohio; and many special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024 from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 at noon with Billy Ford and Chris Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Park in Pikeville, Ky.
