Elster Gene Morton, 93 of Regina, KY passed away Friday, July 18, 2025 at his residence. Elster was a retired coal miner and a member of the Faith First Baptist Church. He was born March 12, 1932 in Pikeville, KY to the late Truman Roosevelt Morton and Myrtle "Mert" McCoy Ratliff. In addition to his parents, Elster was preceded in death by siblings, Avery Morton, Suetta Bartley and Iva Lee Morton.

Elster is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Whitt, Terri Denise Morton of Regina, KY and LaGenia Adkins of Eustis, FL; three grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Vanover of Lorain, OH.

Visitation will be from 11AM-12PM Friday, July 25, 2025 at the original Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to be conducted at 12PM from the chapel. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
