Edna Oney Looney, 84 of Pikeville, Ky passed away Friday June 05, 2026 at her residence. Edna was born October 07, 1941 in Pike Co., KY to the late George and Louisa Coleman Oney. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband John Gilbert Looney; two daughters; Melinda Adkins and Sherri Mara, three brothers; Clifford, Clinton, Dewey Clayton, and six sisters; Claudie, Marie, Elsie Mae, Pearl, Nellie Jean, and Beatrice. 

 Edna is survived by four grand children; Krystal Lewis, Shawn Ward, Kara Stevens, and Jake Damron and five great grandchildren; Maddelyn Blair, Maisyn Blair, Gavin Casey, Tylan Gooslin, and John Damron. Edna was a member of the Lick Creek Holiness Church.

The visitation will be held Monday, June 08, 2026 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may call from 6 - 10 PM. Services will begin at 7:00 PM with Rick Fuller and Rick Sawyers officiating. The funeral will be conducrted Tuesday, June 09, 2026 at 2:00 PM from the Bailey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
