Edith Wellman, 75 of Prestonsburg, Ky. was born on April 13, 1949 in Elkhorn City, Ky. and passed away at the Highland Regional Hospital on March 14, 2025. She was the daughter of Lindsey and Mary Bailey Rowe who preceded her in death. Edith was a clerk in medical records for a nursing home. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Ermel Dale "PeeWee" Wellman, son; Michael Dwayne Wellman and a grandchild. Survivors are sons; Mitchell Dale and Mark Lindsey Wellman both of Louisa, Ky. and 5 grandchildren. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1:00 with a funeral service at 2:00. Minister will be Jimmy Dale Sanders. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Draffin, Ky.
