Eddie Frank Collins, 73 of Weeksbury, Ky. was born on Feb. 5, 1951 in Weeksbury, Ky. and passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on Monday, June 17, 2024. He was the son of Johnnie and Elsie Faye Sanders Collins who preceded him in death. Eddie was a US Army vet. Survivors are a brother; Johnnie D. Collins 3rd of Hazard, Ky. and a sister; Mary Magdalene Collins Sanders of Ashcamp and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church with a service at 7:00. Funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery at Weeksbury, Ky.
