Dorothy Ann Coleman, 78 of Orleans, IN, passed away on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Dorothy was born on February 25th, 1946 in Virgie, KY to the late Charles Ervin Tackett & Maude Hatfield Tackett. Dorothy was a Medical Records Coder and a member of the Justiceville Bible Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Lee Tackett, Junior Tackett, Forrestor Tackett, Ulysess Tackett, and Donnie Tackett. Sisters: Truly Belle Tackett, Hellen Tackett, Dixie Caudill, & Pauline Lalich.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Dean Coleman of Orleans, IN. Sons: Jeffrey Coleman of Georgetown, KY and Kevin Coleman of Richmond, KY. Grandchildren: Devon Coleman, Corey Coleman, Braydon Coleman, Gage Coleman, and Adalynn Coleman. Great-Grandchild: River Coleman.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 from 6-10 PM in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be held on Sunday, August 18th, 2024 at 1 PM with Richard Meek officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery in Pikeville, KY.
