Doris Lynne Mullins, born on July 17, 1964, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on January 12, 2025. As a devoted Christian and loving mother, Doris lived a life rooted in love, prayer, and unwavering faith. Her greatest source of joy was being surrounded by those she loved.
Doris selflessly raised six children, instilling in them the values of independence, love, and perseverance. She is survived by her children: Kristian Golda Oliver of Savannah, GA; Katelyn Ann Hensley of Mason, OH; Lorenzo Jared Daniel Huffman of California, MD; Hannah Faith Amelia Huffman of California, MD; and Jolie Jewelauna Belcher of Elkhorn City, KY. Doris also embraced and cherished her two stepdaughters, Kori Michelle Blackburn and Kala Lynn Mullins, as her own; grandchildren, Keygan, Delylah, Crosby, Emily, Wyatt, James, Sawyer, Halen, and Lane. She is also survived by sisters, Dolores Justice of FL and Debra Collins of Dorton, KY and brother, Johnny Mullins of Dorton, KY.
Doris was preceded in death by her mother, Golda Ruble Mullins; her son, James M. Childers; one angel baby; and her brothers, James Virgil Mullins and Joe P. Mullins.
Her legacy continues through her beloved children and grandchildren, whose lives she touched with her golden spirit and unconditional love.
Doris will be remembered for her faith, her compassion for others, and her deep love for her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be from 6-10 PM Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7 PM. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 2 PM at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Elkhorn City, KY with burial to follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery, Dorton, KY.
