Donnie E. Easterling, age 83, of Troy, OH, passed away on May 23, 2026 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit, Troy. He was born on March 22, 1943 in Pikeville, KY to the late Winfield and Samie Arcona (Bartley) Easterling.

Donnie is survived by his children: Kimberly Easterling of Troy and Jerry Easterling of Centerville; brothers: William, Richard, and Wendell Easterling; and sister: Ella Mead. In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his wife: Helen (Belcher) Easterling; daughter: Donna Welbaum; and brothers: Ronnie, Dean, and Edwin Easterling.

Donnie retired in 2008 as a machinist at BF Goodrich after 43 years of service.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2026 at Baird Funeral Home.

There will be a visitation Friday, May 29, 2026 from 10:30-11AM with a funeral service to start at 11AM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Dale Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Easterling Cemetery, Dry Fork of Marrowbone, Elkhorn City, KY.
