Delois Jean Coleman Mutter, 85, of Elkhorn City, KY passed away on January 31, 2024, at her home after a prolonged illness. Delois was a retired teacher of twenty-two years, Jr. BETA Club sponsor, cheerleading coach, KEA delegate, an active member of PCEA, and a sister in the Hester Chapter 54 Order of the Eastern Star. Delois will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Delois was born July 17, 1938, to the late Anthony and Fannie Coleman. In addition to her parents, Delois is preceded in death by her husband, Ruey; brothers, Harold (Evelyn) Dean and Dennis Racine; and sister, Glema (Neil) Joyce Young.

Delois is survived by her daughter, Jennie (Eddie) Mutter-Campbell, of Edgewater, FL; son, Hank (Teffany) Mutter, of Elkhorn City, KY; grandchildren, Ruey (Nora) Bently, Kelley (Jay Kraft) Foster, Anthony (Sarah) Mutter, Christopher Mutter, and Joshuah Taylor; great-grandchildren, Christian (Matthew Youngblood) Foster, Gentri (Clara Shaw) Foster, and Saylor Rae Mutter; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 6:00-10:00 PM at Bailey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024, in the chapel of Bailey Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Kelley Foster and Andrew Stacy speaking. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young, Pikeville, KY.
