Debra Joan Akers, 66 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Sunday, March 03, 2024. Debra was born January 29, 1958 in Pikeville, KY to Claudie and Joan Gibson Little of Bowling Fork, KY. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Akers and a daughter, Toby Jo Akers.

In addition to her parents, Debra is survived by a son, Ernest J. Akers, Jr. and a daughter, Tobie Beth (Robert) Akers both of Elkhorn City, KY; six grandchildren, Zachary Tyler Clevinger, Eden Little Rose, Alyssa Grace Akers, AnnaBella Jolene Akers, E.J. Akers, II, and Maleah Joella Rae Langel.

Debra is also survived by two brothers, Claudie Little, Jr. and Roger (Bertha) "E.R" Little both of Bowling Fork, KY; three sisters, Chyrel (Larry) Kilgore- Gilliam of Hellier, KY, Claudette (Terry) Pigg of Bowling Fork, KY and Phyllis (Terry) Newsome of Virgie, KY; best friends, Terri Walker and Yvonne Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 07, 2024 at 6PM at the Poor Bottom Freewill Baptist Church with Richard Gibson, Ray Tackett and Oscar Damron officiating.
