Betty Lou Mays Lewis, 90 of Marrowbone, KY passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at her residence. She was a homemaker and baptized as a teenager at Southland Church.

Betty was born September 25, 1934 in Lookout, KY to the late John Bill Mays and Stella Coleman Mays. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Herbert Hoover Lewis, and three sisters, Lavon Brehm, Doris Swick and Christine Ratliff.

Betty is survived by her son, Scottie Herbert Lewis of Marrowbone, KY; a daughter, Kristina Beth (Eddie) Crum of Pikeville, KY; three grandchildren, Scotty Herbert Lewis, II, Bethanie (Steven) Crum Cofiell and Blake Edward Crum. Betty is also survived by two brothers, Don Edward (Verona) Mays and Scottie Earl (Wanda) Mays both of Louisville, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be from 12 PM to 1 PM Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to begin at 1 PM with Randy Bentley officiating. Burial will follow at Clevinger Cemetery, Venters, KY.
