Benny Clevinger, 83 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on July 31, 1941 at Belcher Fork, VA. and passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024 in the Pikeville Medical Center. He was a member of the Elkhorn City First Church of God and a coal miner. He was preceded in death by his parents; Ira and Eliza Jane Branham Clevinger, a brother; Ira Ralph Clevinger, and sister; Mildred Kathleen Belcher. Survivors are his wife Sandy Clevinger, daughters; Lisha K. (Dave) Clevinger Owens of Elkhorn City and Gwena Deean (Dave) Clevinger Skeens of Belcher, Ky. and sisters Betty Lou Hankins and Nancy Belcher both of Grundy, Va., and a grandson; Benjamin David Skeens. Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00, Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 in Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7:00. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, 11:00 in the chapel with Scottie Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin, Ky.
